Galle (Galle) - a major port city in the south-west of Sri Lanka, the capital of the Southern Province. The main attraction - the Dutch fort built in the 17th century.

How to get to Galle

Many bus connects with Halle resorts along the south-west coast of Sri Lanka. They depart from the main bus station, which is located in the heart of the city, opposite the stadium for cricket. Basically, you can go from here to Colombo (shuttle / LKR 150/300 with air conditioning, en route three o'clock), Hikkaduwa (LKR 37, 30 minutes), Unawatuna (LKR 28, 10 minutes) and Matara (67 LKR, the way 1 hour).

Entertainment, excursions and attractions Galle

Galle Fort, which is now in good condition, one of the most preserved colonial forts in Asia. 5 km from the town of Unawatuna beach is surrounded by coral reefs with perfectly clean sea. Not far from Galle there Turtle Farm, where bring collected from the coast of turtle eggs, and later released newly hatched turtles into the ocean.
